Manoj Menon, former MD APAC at Frost & Sullivan, joins Ecosystm as Principal Advisor

Announcement of prominent thought leader in the Asia Pacific technology research space caps off a promising January for Ecosystm, which recently launched its India office

23 January 2019, SINGAPOREEcosystm, a disruptive technology research and advisory firm, has today announced that Manoj Menon, a luminary in the technology research and management consultancy space within the Asia Pacific region, has joined the team as Principal Advisor. With more than two decades of experience, Manoj has helped multinational companies, regulators, and government bodies alike make sense of a fast-changing world to drive exponential impact in their communities and businesses.

As a technology analyst, Manoj is regarded as one of the foremost thought leaders in the areas of digital transformation, customer experience and telecommunications. Prior to Ecosystm, Manoj served as Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Senior Partner at global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan – making him the first and youngest Senior Partner in Asia. As one of the founding members of the firm in the region, Manoj played an instrumental role in its eventual expansion to 15 major markets, employing more than 1,000 people.

Beyond his work with Ecosystm, Manoj is Founder and Managing Director at Twimbit, a research think tank which assists organisations and government bodies in solving some of the biggest challenges facing humanity. He is also a Certified Coach for Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centred Coaching, a global leadership development network, and serves as a board member for SP Jain School of Global Management.

Additional feathers in his cap include being a professional keynote speaker, having presented at over 1,000 seminars internationally in the last decade, and an angel investor with a keen interest in future trends and business model innovation.

Amit Gupta, Founder and CEO at Ecosystm, said: “Throughout his career, Manoj has been a trendsetter. Few people can claim to have supported a global consultancy in finding its feet in the region to become a veritable behemoth – Manoj understands the nuances of Asia’s various markets inside out, and will play an integral role in Ecosystm’s expansion roadmap. He will bring value to the firm as a technology thought leader as much as a business leader, with his depth and breadth of expertise in helping organisations and companies leverage on innovation to grow.”

Manoj Menon, Principal Advisor at Ecosystm added: “As an individual with a strong passion for the study of future trends across industries, I am excited to be part of a firm that places innovation at the heart of its business. Ecosystm has the potential to completely disrupt the research industry, and I look forward to helping them achieve this as they rapidly expand across the region, and indeed the world.”

With Manoj joining the team, it caps off a strong start to the year for Ecosystm. Earlier this month, the firm appointed Anika Grant, Senior HR Director of Uber’s Global Core Business, as a board advisor, and launched a new office in Gurgaon, India.

Founded in 2016, private equity backed Ecosystm democratises data availability and accessibility for technology buyers, vendors and analysts globally using a ‘research as a service’ model. It focuses on offering transparency and autonomy to users, allowing them to consume data in a way that is affordable, and contextualised to their needs.
